When you are away from the house, It is very important to arm all points of protection on your system, especially the interior protection (motion detectors, interior closet door sensors, etc.). To help detect an attempted break-in through a door or window, we recommend both glass-break detection and door/window sensors. Glass-break detectors are typically installed on the wall or ceiling in a room with glass windows and/or doors. They detect the sound and vibration of breaking glass. Door/window sensors are installed on the opening and are designed to detect whether a door or window is opened, by force or otherwise. |
